Canon Body Cover RF-3 Body Cap
Canon Body Cover RF-3 Body Cap | Cover the camera body when the lens is off
You’ve taken the lens off and need to put the camera away, or you’re changing lenses and want to cover the open body in the meantime. The Canon Body Cover RF-3 is a body cap for that moment: it covers the camera body opening when a lens isn’t attached. It’s a straightforward accessory for Canon camera owners who want a dedicated cover close at hand, whether the camera is being stored or the lens is off during a change. A cap like this helps keep dust from settling on the exposed opening while the camera is between lenses. Its job is deliberately simple; it doesn’t replace a lens or add camera functions. Keep it with your camera gear and use it when the body would otherwise be left open. The product name identifies it as the RF-3 body cap, so you can distinguish it from other camera accessories when organising or replacing a cap.
Specialist Note
An open camera body is an easy place for dust to settle when you’re packing up, and the RF-3 gives you a specific cover for that gap. The Canon name helps identify the brand, while RF-3 is the model code to look for when you’re sorting your camera accessories or asking for this particular cap. It suits a Canon camera owner who wants to put the body away with the lens removed, or cover it briefly while changing lenses. Keep the cap somewhere easy to reach in your camera bag; then you can cover the opening as soon as the lens comes off. Its role is simply to cover the body, not to do the work of a lens.
