Canon Maxify MB2750 MFP 600x1200DPI 24/15.5PPM

Canon Maxify MB2750 MFP | Compare speed and resolution at a glance

When you’re narrowing down printers for a desk that needs one machine rather than separate devices, the Canon Maxify MB2750 MFP gives you a straightforward set of figures to judge. It’s listed in the Photo Printer category, and its title identifies it as a multifunction printer. The stated resolution is 600 x 1200 DPI, alongside page rates of 24/15.5 PPM. Those numbers make this model relevant to shoppers weighing output detail against stated pace, without asking you to guess from a broad marketing claim. You can compare its published resolution and speed directly with other models on your shortlist. I’d start there, then decide whether those headline measures match the way you plan to print; they’re concrete, but they don’t describe every part of a printer’s day-to-day operation.

Reading the figures

DPI describes resolution: it gives you a way to compare how much detail a printer is specified to render. PPM describes page rate, so it’s the figure to look at when comparing stated printing pace. Neither measurement, by itself, tells you everything about how a printer will fit into your routine. The type of documents you print and what you expect from the finished page matter too. For a first pass through a shortlist, though, resolution and page rate are useful points of comparison. Keep the same measures in view across the models you’re considering, and use them as a practical guide rather than a complete verdict. That’s the sensible way to make use of the figures given for the MB2750.
