Caruba UV + CPL + ND8 Kit 67mm

Caruba UV + CPL + ND8 Kit 67mm - three filter effects in one set

Without filters, reflected light stays on glass and water, while strong sun can limit your aperture and shutter choices. The Caruba UV + CPL + ND8 Kit 67mm brings three different filter effects together for a lens with a 67mm filter thread. Use the CPL for reflective scenes, the ND8 to reduce incoming light, or the UV filter as a protective layer over the lens’s front element. That range is useful for photographing a shopfront through glass, working in bright outdoor light, or creating a smoother look in moving water with a longer exposure. Each filter has a protective multilayer coating, and the supplied pouch holds up to four filters, leaving space for one more. It’s a compact set for photographers who often work outdoors and want distinct options for changing light and reflections.

What each filter changes

• UV filter: Ultraviolet sunlight can create a bluish cast in daytime photographs; this filter addresses that colour effect. It also sits in front of the lens as a replaceable protective layer.
• CPL filter: A circular polarising filter cuts reflections from surfaces such as windows and water. It also increases contrast and colour saturation, including the separation between blue sky and white clouds.
• ND8 filter: This neutral-density filter reduces the light reaching the camera. In bright conditions, that’s useful when you want to keep a wide aperture or use a longer shutter speed.
• Protective multilayer coating: The filters’ coating is intended to protect their surfaces and make cleaning easier.
• Four-filter pouch: The case carries the three filters and has room for a fourth, handy if you keep another filter with your camera kit.
