Deltaco USB-C Network Adapter Gigabit 1XRJ45 USB-C - Space Grey

Deltaco USB-C Network Adapter Gigabit 1XRJ45 USB-C - Space Grey | Add a wired Gigabit network connection via USB-C

Without an adapter, adding a wired RJ45 connection to a USB-C setup can be awkward. This Deltaco adapter provides a straightforward link between USB-C and one RJ45 network connection, for a Gigabit network. It suits anyone whose setup calls for a wired connection and has a USB-C port available for the adapter. That might be at a desk where you want to connect a network cable, rather than rely on a wireless connection. Its appeal is specific: it gives you the USB-C-to-RJ45 connection in one small piece of kit, without adding extra network ports. The space grey finish keeps the look restrained. If you need more than one RJ45 connection, this isn’t the adapter to choose; it has a single port. For a simple wired link through USB-C, though, its purpose is clear.

Connecting over a network cable

Use this adapter when the connection you need is a network cable at the RJ45 end and USB-C at the other. It’s a practical option to consider for a workspace or another setup where a wired network connection is preferred. The adapter’s Gigabit designation identifies the network class it’s intended for; the connection you experience can also depend on the rest of your network. There’s no need to treat it as a multi-port hub: the product name specifies one RJ45 connection. That makes the choice simple if a single wired network link is all you’re looking to add. Its job is focused, and the name tells you exactly which two connection types it brings together.
