Desq Lens Cap + Filter Set 52mm
Desq Lens Cap + Filter Set 52mm | Cover your lens and add colour filtration
You’re packing your camera away after a session, or getting ready to make a picture with a different colour treatment in mind. This Desq set brings a lens cap and filter together for those two straightforward jobs: cover the lens between uses, then use the filter when you want colour filtration in your image. It suits photographers who want these basic accessories as a set, rather than looking for a filter kit with several different effects. The product is identified as 52mm, giving you a specific size to match against the filter fitting on your lens. Its strongest use is simple: keeping a cap on hand for storage and having a colour filter available when you want to alter the way colour appears in a picture. It’s a focused accessory set, not a collection of filter types for every lighting situation.
Matching the filter size
Use the 52mm marking as your starting point when matching the filter to a lens. Filter sizes are easy to overlook when choosing accessories, so it’s worth comparing that number with the size required by your lens before you settle on a fit. The set is centred on colour filtration, rather than a range of unrelated filter effects.
Specialist Note
This set keeps lens covering and colour filtration close at hand, without making either job complicated. The cap is there for the moments the camera is packed away; the filter gives you a way to bring colour treatment into the picture when you’re shooting. The 52mm size is useful as a clear matching point, so compare it with the filter fitting your lens before choosing it. I’d consider it for portraits or still-life when you want colour filtration to be part of the look, rather than something added later. Its focus is specific: it won’t replace filters meant for other kinds of light control.
