DJI Mic Mini - Multi-Colour Windscreens | Help tame wind noise

The colour choice is what sets these windscreens apart: they give DJI Mic Mini users a way to add a visible touch to their microphone setup, as well as a physical cover for the mic. They suit creators who record speech on the move, from outdoor interviews to short social videos, and want a straightforward option for dealing with moving air around the microphone. A windscreen can help reduce wind noise reaching the mic, though it can’t remove every sound from a breezy location. The different colours can also help make the microphone easier to spot or distinguish in a shoot. If your DJI Mic Mini is part of a compact recording kit, these are a small accessory to keep in mind when you’re planning to record outside. They’re about practical mic use and a bit of visual choice, rather than changing the microphone’s recording settings.

Specialist Note

First-time mic owners often underestimate how much moving air can intrude on speech; a windscreen gives the DJI Mic Mini a simple physical layer for outdoor recording. For a one-person interview or a short spoken clip outside, fit a windscreen before you start, then choose a colour that’s easy to keep track of in your setup. The multi-colour detail is useful when you want the mic to be more visible or want a quick visual distinction between setups. These are windscreens, not a fix for every noisy location, so a sheltered spot still helps when the wind picks up.
