DZOFILM Dzo Film Vespid FF 25mm T2.1 - PL & EF Mount (FT/M) is a 25mm wide-angle prime designed for full-frame coverage. It’s built for filmmakers who want a broad view with the deliberate framing of a fixed focal length, rather than the convenience of a zoom. The 82° angle of view makes it well suited to establishing shots, interiors and scenes where you want to include more of the setting around your subject. This is an interchangeable cinema lens for video and filmmaking, with manual focus for controlled adjustments during a take. Its Canon EF mount suits productions built around that mount. Use it when you want a consistent wide perspective across a scene, or need room in the frame for both a person and their surroundings. As a prime, it asks you to change your position or camera framing when you need a different view.

Specialist Note

In a softly lit interview room near the end of the day, this lens can keep a wide, environmental frame feeling composed. Its T2.1 maximum aperture gives you room to work as the light drops; I’d start there for a seated interview, then adjust exposure to suit the scene. Manual focus is a good fit for a planned move: rehearse the subject’s movement and pull focus as they lean in or turn toward someone off camera.
