Exascend Essential Pro Max CFexpress Type-A 4.0 256GB
Exascend Essential Pro Max CFexpress Type-A 4.0 256GB | Keep your files on hand
Running out of card space in the middle of a job can interrupt your rhythm and force an early offload. The Exascend Essential Pro Max CFexpress Type-A 4.0 gives you 256GB of storage in a CFexpress Type-A card, so you can keep more of a project together before making room for the next one. It suits photographers and filmmakers whose equipment takes CFexpress Type-A media and who want a single card with a clearly stated capacity. That makes it a practical option for keeping a set of stills or a video project in one place, rather than splitting it across smaller cards. The 4.0 designation is part of the card’s format name; no transfer-speed figure is provided here, so I wouldn’t choose it on an assumed speed. Its appeal is straightforward: a specific card format and 256GB to work with.
Specialist Note
For a job where I want one project kept together, I’d make the 256GB Exascend card that project’s dedicated media card, then file the work by date when I offload it. The CFexpress Type-A format is the detail to match to your equipment: it’s a specific card type, not a universal fit, so your device needs a Type-A slot. The 4.0 wording is useful when identifying the exact card, but I wouldn’t read a particular transfer speed into it. It suits someone already working with CFexpress Type-A media who values a generous stated capacity; just plan your offloads around the way you shoot.
