FALCAM F22 Quick Release Side Handle Grip Kit w/ Plate
FALCAM F22 Quick Release Side Handle Grip Kit w/ Plate | Add a side grip for handheld filming
For handheld filming where you want a grip beside the camera, the FALCAM F22 Quick Release Side Handle Grip Kit w/ Plate gives you a dedicated side handle and a plate in one kit. It suits camera operators who prefer to hold the camera by a handle rather than rely only on the camera body, especially when framing and moving at the same time. The quick-release design is the key detail: it’s intended to make attaching or removing the handle a quicker part of changing your setup. That can be handy when you move between a handheld shot and a setup where you don’t want the side handle in the way. The plate is part of the kit, so you have a plate to work with as you build that arrangement. The product name doesn’t specify a camera fit or the plate’s dimensions, so treat it as an F22 accessory rather than assuming it suits every camera rig.
Specialist Note
The side handle’s grip gives your hand a separate place to hold the camera, which can make handheld framing feel more deliberate than holding the body alone. I’d consider it for short moving clips or for keeping a steadier hold while you adjust your framing; use the handle as your main support point, and let your free hand manage the camera. The quick-release part matters when your setup changes, since the handle is designed to come off without turning every change into a lengthy task. The plate is useful to have as part of the kit, but a handle and plate won’t remove camera movement by themselves. This is best suited to someone building around the F22 accessory format.
