Falcon Eyes Honeycomb For Fesb-6090HC 60x90cm

Falcon Eyes Honeycomb For Fesb-6090HC 60x90cm | More controlled light

Without a grid, light from a softbox spreads more freely across the scene. This black honeycomb is made for the Falcon Eyes FESB-6090HC 60x90cm softbox, giving you a way to keep that light more directed. It suits photographers who want to shape the softbox output rather than simply illuminate a broad area. That can be helpful when a background, nearby subject or part of the set is catching light you’d rather keep off it. The honeycomb’s job is straightforward: narrow the spread of light from the softbox. It won’t change the character of the light source into something else, but it gives you more say over where the light falls. If you’re building a setup around the named softbox and want tighter control, this is the accessory to consider.

In practice, a grid is most useful when the position of the light matters as much as its softness. You can use the honeycomb to keep illumination more concentrated on your intended area and reduce spill onto the rest of the scene. That makes it relevant for portraits, product work or other setups where you’re placing light deliberately; the important point is controlling spread, not adding another light source. Think about the space you have and where the softbox will sit, since a more directed beam can call for more careful positioning than unrestricted spread. This is a specific accessory for the FESB-6090HC in the 60x90cm size, rather than a general-purpose grid listing. Its colour is black. If you already use that softbox and want to guide its output with more precision, the honeycomb offers a simple, focused way to do that.
