Filmsticks Medium All Weather Resin Clapper Sticks w/ Gray Scale Laminate

Filmsticks Medium All Weather Resin Clapper Sticks w/ Gray Scale Laminate | A clear clapper reference for set work

When a clapper needs to be easy to identify on set, vague labels and hard-to-read surfaces can slow down a take. These Filmsticks clapper sticks pair a medium size with a gray scale laminate, giving you a distinct slate component for film and video work. They’re made from resin and described as all-weather, so the product name points to a design intended for use in changing conditions. The gray scale laminate is the defining detail here; it sets this version apart from clapper sticks without that surface. For a camera crew, the sticks are the part that comes together to make the clap, giving the slate its familiar visual and audible cue. This is a focused studio accessory, rather than a complete slate: the title identifies the sticks, not a board or other slate parts.

The medium format keeps the choice straightforward if you’re looking for clapper sticks in that size category. There are no dimensions in the product name, so it’s best to think of “medium” as the supplied size designation rather than a precise measurement. Likewise, “all weather” is part of the product description; it doesn’t give a specific temperature range or other conditions to work to. The resin construction and gray scale laminate are the concrete details to compare when choosing this version. In day-to-day slate use, the job of the sticks is simple: bring them together for the clap, then keep the slate action clear and consistent for the crew. If your preference is a medium resin set of clapper sticks with a gray-scale surface, this Filmsticks version keeps those details together in one clearly named studio accessory.
