Freewell Osmo Pocket 4/3 Glow Mist 1/4 Filter
Freewell Osmo Pocket 4/3 Glow Mist 1/4 Filter | Add a soft glow to your footage
The defining feature of this filter is its combination of a Glow Mist effect and a 1/4 strength: it’s made for adding a softer, glowing character to footage from the Osmo Pocket 4/3. It suits creators who want a more atmospheric image straight from the camera, especially when a scene includes bright points of light or faces that could benefit from a gentler look. The effect is a creative choice rather than a neutral correction, so it’s best used when you want that look to be part of the image. Try it for evening street scenes, indoor portraits or music and lifestyle clips where lights can add mood. It can also give everyday footage a more deliberate visual style without changing the scene itself. If you prefer a crisp, unaltered rendering every time, this isn’t the filter to leave on by default; choose it for the moments when its glow suits the story.
Specialist Note
1/4 is the strength to pay attention to here: it gives you a defined Glow Mist look without making the filter’s character the whole point of the image. I’d suggest it to Osmo Pocket 4/3 owners making portraits, evening clips or scenes with bright lamps in the frame. Use it when you want those highlights to feel softer and more atmospheric, rather than strictly clean and sharp. The Glow Mist description tells you this is about shaping the look, not correcting exposure. My honest advice is to treat it as a creative option, not an everyday setting; for footage where you want a plain, neutral appearance, leave this effect out.
