Frio AA Silicone Battery Case
Frio AA Silicone Battery Case | Keep AA batteries protected in transit
Spare AA batteries can get knocked about or dusty while you’re carrying camera gear. The Frio AA Silicone Battery Case gives them a dedicated place for transport and storage. It’s a hard case, suited to situations where batteries need protection from knocks, dust or rain. The name identifies the battery format it’s made for: AA. Its silicone construction is another defining detail, while the hard-case design makes this a more protective option than leaving batteries loose in a bag. It suits photographers who carry spare AA cells as part of their kit, and anyone who wants to store them together between uses. Keep it with the equipment that relies on AA batteries, so your spares are easy to locate when you need them. Think of it as a protective case for carrying and storing batteries, not as a promise that they can be submerged or kept fully dry in heavy rain.
A place for spare batteries
Give the case a regular spot in your camera bag or storage area and you’ll have a simple routine: return your spare AA batteries to the case after use, then take it along when you pack the equipment that needs them. That keeps the battery format clear and the spares together, rather than scattered among other items. It’s a straightforward bit of kit, with a specific job.
Specialist Note
The silicone exterior gives the AA case a protective layer, while its hard-case construction makes it suited to carrying and storing batteries around camera gear. I’d use it to keep spare AA cells together in a kit bag, or to give them a dedicated place at home between shoots. The useful detail here is the AA format: keep this case with equipment that uses AA batteries, and you’ll know which spares you’ve packed. It’s intended for knocks, dust and rain being a concern, but I wouldn’t treat that as proof the case is waterproof.
