FXLion Cable D-Tap Extender

FXLion Cable D-Tap Extender: Add 90 cm to a D-Tap connection

The FXLion Cable D-Tap Extender adds 90 cm to an existing connection, giving you a defined amount of extra cable reach. It’s for camera and video setups that use D-Tap connections and need more distance between connected parts. Use it to extend a link between a power source and a device, position connected components farther apart on a rig, or leave extra cable slack when those parts aren’t mounted side by side. The benefit is simple and specific: you get an extension rather than a different type of connection. That makes the cable useful when the existing lead falls short of the placement your setup calls for. The 90 cm length is long enough to change the spacing between connected items, while remaining a clearly specified extension rather than an unknown length of spare cable. There’s no extra function to learn; its job is to extend a D-Tap link.

D-Tap Cable Details

• D-Tap extension: The cable extends a D-Tap connection between two connected items. That focused role is useful when the connection needs more reach, but the setup still calls for the same D-Tap link.
• Male-to-female ends: One end is male and the other is female. This gives the cable a defined connector arrangement, so you can compare its ends with the connections on the equipment and lead in your setup.
• Two-pin connectors: Both connectors use a 2-pin format. The pin count is a specific detail to match against the connections in your setup, alongside the D-Tap type and male-to-female arrangement.
• 32 g weight: At 32 grams, the cable’s weight is easy to account for when tallying the accessories on a rig. It’s a useful figure to have when keeping track of the weight of connected items and cables.
• FX-B01B02 model: The model reference for this cable is FX-B01B02. Keep that identifier handy when comparing product listings or checking that you’re looking at the FXLion extender you intended to order.
