FXLion Nexus V-Mount Battery 14.4V/12.8AH/184WH

FXLion Nexus V-Mount Battery 14.4V/12.8AH/184WH | Clear capacity for power planning

When you’re planning a shoot around V-mount power, it helps to have the battery’s key figures up front. The FXLion Nexus is a V-mount battery rated at 14.4V, with a capacity of 12.8Ah and an energy rating of 184Wh. Those numbers give you a concrete starting point when comparing battery capacity or working out what you’ll need for a production day. It suits camera crews and other users looking for a battery in this capacity class, especially when a clear energy rating matters for planning. One practical point: capacity alone won’t tell you how long a battery will run your setup. The actual runtime depends on the power draw of the equipment connected to it, so it’s best to base your estimate on your own setup’s consumption rather than on the battery rating alone.

Reading the capacity figures

For comparing energy capacity, the watt-hour figure is the most direct number to use. Amp-hours describe capacity in relation to voltage, so that figure is useful alongside the listed 14.4V rating. In everyday planning, these ratings help you compare batteries on paper, but they don’t predict a fixed number of hours for every setup. A rig drawing more power will use stored energy faster than one drawing less. If you already know the power consumption of the equipment you intend to run, use that as the basis for estimating runtime. That keeps the decision grounded in your actual needs instead of relying on a broad assumption about how long any one battery should last.
