Godox AD200PRO Silicone Fender

Godox AD200PRO Silicone Fender | Protection and floor-standing use

On a compact lighting set, the AD200Pro gets set down between adjustments or placed on a flat surface as a low fill source. The Godox AD200PRO Silicone Fender is a silicone cover for the Godox AD200Pro, adding a layer of protection against knocks while its raised edges sit around the screen and controls. That raised shape matters when the flash is facing upwards: it protects the LCD from scratches and keeps the controls from protruding unintentionally. The fender also serves as a floor stand, so the flash can be positioned on the floor or another flat surface as a fill light. It’s a useful bit of protection for AD200Pro owners who move their flash around a set or use it close to the ground. The accessory is straightforward: a grey silicone fender, supplied on its own.

Protection and Placement

• Silicone cover: The fender fits around the Godox AD200Pro as a protective outer layer. Its flexible silicone construction adds a buffer against knocks while handling the flash on set.
• Protection against knocks: The cover is intended to protect the flash from impacts during the shooting process. It’s a simple layer between the AD200Pro’s body and the bumps it may encounter while being repositioned.
• Raised screen edges: The edges stand above the LCD, helping shield it from scratches when the flash is set down facing upwards. That’s particularly useful when the screen is exposed on a flat surface.
• Recessed control area: With the flash placed face-up, the raised edges help keep the controls from sticking out unintentionally. This keeps the buttons more protected as the unit rests on a surface.
• Floor-stand function: The fender can support the AD200Pro on the floor or another flat surface. In that position, the flash can serve as a fill light close to the ground.
