Godox RS60R Litemons RGB LED Light 60WS

Godox RS60R Litemons RGB LED Light 60WS | Add colour to continuous lighting

Getting coloured light into a scene can be a hassle when you want to shape the look while you work. The Godox RS60R Litemons is an RGB LED continuous light with a 60WS designation, giving you a dedicated light source for adding colour to a setup. It suits photographers and video makers who want to bring coloured light into portraits, product images or filmed scenes, rather than relying on colour in the finished edit. Its appeal is straightforward: you’re choosing an RGB light for creative lighting, in a continuous-light category. That makes it worth considering when colour is part of the look you’re building on set. The honest limitation is that the title alone doesn’t tell us how bright it is or how it’s powered, so I wouldn’t choose it based on an assumed output or setup.

Putting RGB light to work

Colour can add separation between a subject and its background, or give a scene a deliberate mood. With an RGB light, you can make coloured illumination part of the lighting plan itself. That’s useful when you want the colour to sit in the scene, rather than adding it later as an effect. Think of it as a creative light source for a particular job, not a claim that it will replace every light in your kit.

For portraits, you might use coloured light as an accent; for product work, it can help establish a more stylised setting. In video, a continuous source is useful when you want to see the lighting as you arrange the shot. The results will depend on your subject, room and overall setup, so it’s worth planning where the colour should fall before you begin. If you’re choosing a light specifically for coloured illumination, the RS60R Litemons gives you that RGB starting point in the Godox range.
