Godox X3PRO O 2.4G Touch Screen TTL Trigger Transmitter for Olympus and Panasonic | Trigger off-camera flash with touch control

The X3PRO pairs a touchscreen interface with TTL flash triggering, giving Olympus and Panasonic camera users a direct way to fire off-camera flash. It suits photographers who want to work with flash away from the camera, especially for portraits and product shots. TTL support is useful when you’re changing your framing or the subject’s position and want the camera’s through-the-lens flash metering involved in exposure. For a portrait, place your flash off-camera to shape the light, then use the transmitter to fire it from your camera. The same setup can give a small product a more deliberate look than relying on light from the camera position. Its 2.4G connection is intended for triggering, while the touchscreen gives you a touch-based interface at the camera. This is a transmitter, not a flash, so you’ll need an off-camera flash for it to fire.

Specialist Note

People new to off-camera flash can spend more time walking back to the light than refining it; the X3PRO puts a touchscreen interface at the camera position. That’s handy when you’re adjusting your portrait setup and want to stay with your subject. Its 2.4G triggering gives you a wireless way to fire the off-camera flash, so you can place the light where it shapes the face rather than leaving it on the camera. I’d consider it for Olympus or Panasonic users making portraits or lighting product photos on a table. One practical point: the transmitter won’t make light on its own, so this setup depends on having an off-camera flash too.
