Googong Goocong Tripod Mounting Table 2.0 | Support for action in tight spaces

Googong Goocong Tripod Mounting Table 2.0 is a monopod for photographers who need support while keeping their setup manageable. It’s aimed particularly at sports and wildlife shooters using long lenses, and at event photographers working where a tripod would take up too much room. A monopod gives you a single point of support while you follow a moving subject, so you can keep tracking action without setting up a tripod around you. That makes it a practical format for a busy sideline, a wildlife viewpoint or a crowded event space. It’s also worth being clear about its role: this is support for working on the move, rather than a tripod-style setup that stands independently. If your priority is following the subject while making better use of limited space, this is the kind of support to consider.

Think about where you’ll be shooting before choosing a support. At a sports event, space around the sidelines can be limited; for wildlife, a long lens may be part of the setup you need to manage. The monopod format is suited to those situations because it provides support without taking the place a tripod would. It’s a focused tool for action and crowded locations, rather than a general-purpose solution for every shooting style.
