GREEN.L CPL 62mm
GREEN.L CPL 62mm | Control reflections and deepen skies
The GREEN.L CPL 62mm is a circular polarizing filter for photographers who want more control over reflections and sky tone while shooting outdoors. It’s most useful when you can choose your angle: turn a polarizer and its effect changes, helping reduce reflections from surfaces such as water or glass and deepen a blue sky in suitable light. That makes it a practical option for landscapes, travel scenes and reflective subjects, where glare can hide detail or wash out colour. The 62mm designation identifies the filter size, so it suits a lens with a matching 62mm filter thread. A polarizer’s effect depends on the light and your shooting direction; it won’t remove every reflection, and the change in sky tone can vary across a wide view. If you’re happy to adjust the filter as you compose, this simple tool gives you a direct way to shape the look in camera.
Specialist Note
My verdict: the GREEN.L CPL 62mm is best for managing reflections in a scene. The 62mm size means you’ll need a lens with a matching filter thread; once fitted, you can rotate the filter while looking through the viewfinder or at the screen and watch the glare change. Its CPL designation means it’s a circular polarizer, useful for scenes with glass, water or a blue sky. For the strongest sky effect, work with the sun roughly 90 degrees to your shooting direction. One honest limitation: the result depends on your angle, and a polarizer won’t remove reflections from metal. I’d consider it for landscape and travel work where controlling glare matters more than keeping every surface bright.
