H&Y Extra Thin 77mm Adapter Ring For K-Series 100mm Holder
H&Y Extra Thin 77mm Adapter Ring For K-Series 100mm Holder | Connect your lens to the holder
When a lens has a 77mm filter thread and you want to use H&Y’s K-Series holder, this is the small connecting part for that pairing. The H&Y Extra Thin 77mm Adapter Ring is designed for the K-Series 100mm Holder, giving its owners a way to mount that holder on a lens with the matching thread size. Its extra-thin profile keeps the adapter itself low-profile within the setup; its main job is to link the stated lens size with the stated holder. It suits photographers who already use the H&Y K-Series system and have a 77mm lens, especially when filters are part of their landscape or architectural workflow. The purpose is specific: joining these two parts, not changing the holder’s format or adding a filter function of its own. If those are the parts you use, this ring gives you a straightforward route to working with them together.
Specialist Note
The mismatch this ring solves is simple: your lens has a 77mm thread, while your filter setup uses H&Y’s K-Series 100mm holder. I’d recommend it when you want to bring those specific parts together: fit the ring to the lens, attach the holder, then position your chosen filter for a landscape where you want to balance a bright sky against darker ground. The 77mm size makes its role clear for a lens with that thread, and the K-Series designation keeps the holder pairing specific. That focus is also its limit; it isn’t a general ring for other lens sizes or holder systems.
