H&Y HD EVO-Series IRND4 Filter Kit 77mm
H&Y HD EVO-Series IRND4 Filter Kit 77mm | Manage light with a 77mm filter
Without an ND filter, bright conditions can limit your choice of shutter speed or aperture. The H&Y HD EVO-Series IRND4 Filter Kit 77mm is for photographers and filmmakers who want to manage the light reaching the camera when they make those exposure choices. Its name identifies an IRND4 filter and a 77mm size, so it’s a specific option for a setup that calls for that filter size—not a universal fit for every lens. Neutral-density filters are used when you want to work with a slower shutter speed in bright light, or keep a wider aperture without letting the scene become overexposed. That makes this kit relevant for scenes with moving water, or for outdoor video where exposure choices matter. The title doesn’t give a stop value, so I wouldn’t assume a particular shutter-speed change from the “4” alone. Choose it for the stated 77mm size and IRND4 designation, rather than for an unverified performance claim.
Specialist Note
The 77mm sizing makes this a specific purchase, so it’s only the right fit when your lens calls for that filter size. The reason to consider it is the clearly named IRND4 format: it gives you a defined filter type to work into your exposure choices, rather than an unspecified filter. For a bright landscape with moving water, use the filter as part of a slower-shutter approach; for outdoor video, it can help you manage light while setting exposure. I’d match the 77mm marking on the kit to the filter size your setup needs, and I wouldn’t infer a precise exposure change from “IRND4” without a stated stop value.
