H&Y HD EVO-Series Landscape ND Kit IRND8/64/1000 77mm

H&Y HD EVO-Series Landscape ND Kit IRND8/64/1000 77mm | Create softer motion in daylight landscapes

Water can flow as a soft blur and moving clouds can leave gentle trails in your landscape pictures, even in bright conditions. The H&Y HD EVO-Series Landscape ND Kit is made for photographers who want more control over exposure when the light is too strong for the shutter time they’re aiming for. By reducing the light reaching the camera, an ND filter lets you use a slower shutter speed than you could without one. That makes this kit a practical option for landscape work where you want to show movement in water or clouds rather than freeze it. It also suits days when changing light calls for a different amount of reduction. The kit’s range gives you more than one way to manage that, so you can adapt your exposure to the scene instead of relying on a single level of ND.

Choosing an ND strength

Think about the shutter effect you want first, then choose a level of light reduction to help you reach it. For subtle movement, use less reduction; for a longer exposure in bright light, use more. Check the image as you adjust: the right setting depends on the scene and the shutter time you’re after. ND filtration changes exposure, so it’s a tool for managing light, not a way to change the composition itself.
