H&Y RevoRing 67-82mm Variable Adapter For 82mm Green
H&Y RevoRing 67-82mm Variable Adapter For 82mm Green | Share one filter across lenses
Without a variable adapter, you may need a separate step ring for each lens. The H&Y RevoRing is an adapter designed to let an 82mm filter fit lenses with filter-thread sizes from 67mm to 82mm. It suits photographers who already use 82mm filters and want to share them across lenses in that range, rather than carry a collection of individual rings. That can make a simpler setup for a day out: attach the filter you need, then use the same filter when you change to another compatible lens. It’s an adapter, not a filter itself, so it won’t add a UV effect or change the character of your images on its own. The green finish gives this version a distinct look in your camera bag. Its appeal is practical: one variable adapter can cover a span of filter-thread sizes, provided the lens and filter match the stated range.
Specialist Note
It won’t help if your lens falls outside its stated thread range, but within that span it can save you carrying several separate rings. I’d suggest it to someone who has an 82mm filter they want to share between lenses: choose a lens in the supported range and use the adapter to connect the two. That’s handy when you’re switching lenses during a landscape session and want to keep using the same filter. The range is the key detail here; it makes this more flexible than a ring made for just one thread size. The green finish is a nice visual cue if your small accessories tend to get mixed together.
