Hama Chest Mount For GoPro | Keep your hands free for the shot

Holding a camera while you’re busy with an activity can get in the way of doing it. The Hama Chest Mount For GoPro gives you another option: wear the camera at chest level and keep your hands available. It’s intended for GoPro use, and suits people who want a first-person view without carrying the camera in their hand. Think of recording a walk, a hands-on task or another activity where having both hands free matters. The chest-level angle gives the footage a different perspective from a view held at eye height, so it’s worth considering what you want viewers to see before you set off. This is a straightforward accessory with a specific job, rather than a general camera strap. If you want your GoPro positioned on your chest while you record, this Hama mount offers a simple way to do that.

Specialist Note

A chest-level view won’t frame a scene in quite the same way as looking through your own eyes, so it isn’t the right angle for every clip. Its appeal is being able to record with your GoPro while keeping your hands free. I’d consider it for a hands-on sequence where the action in front of your chest is what matters, rather than for carefully composed views of distant subjects. Before recording anything important, make a 10-second test clip and review the framing; that gives you a quick chance to adjust your position. If a chest-height point of view is what you have in mind, this mount keeps the setup focused on that job.
