Hama Filter Premium UV 390 Nano 40.5 mm
Hama Filter Premium UV 390 Nano 40.5 mm | Helps reduce UV haze outdoors
Distant outdoor scenes can look less washed out by UV haze with a UV filter in place. The Hama Filter Premium UV 390 Nano is for photographers who want that kind of filter in a compact 40.5 mm size. It’s most relevant for daylight landscapes and other scenes where you’re photographing across open distances; it’s a simple, practical way to address UV light as part of your shooting setup. The result depends on the conditions, so don’t expect a filter to clear heavy atmospheric haze or fog. This is a focused accessory rather than an effect filter: its purpose is UV filtering, not adding colour or changing perspective. If your lens uses the 40.5 mm filter size, this Hama gives you a specific option to consider.
Specialist Note
The Hama Filter Premium UV 390 Nano is best at giving 40.5 mm lens setups a dedicated UV filter. That 40.5 mm figure matters at the counter: match it to the filter size specified for your lens, and you’ll know you’re choosing the right diameter. The UV 390 designation tells you the filter’s intended role, so I’d consider it for daylight landscape work where you’re shooting across a hazy distance. It can help with UV haze, but it won’t make dense mist disappear; for clearer results, choose a day with better visibility rather than expecting the filter to do all the work. A sensible, specific fit for the right-sized lens.
