Hama HDMI-Audio-Extractor AE90 HDMIO To Audio TosLink 3.5-mm-Jack Silver

Hama HDMI-Audio-Extractor AE90 HDMIO To Audio TosLink 3.5-mm-Jack Silver | Route HDMI audio to audio outputs

Hama HDMI-Audio-Extractor AE90 HDMIO To Audio TosLink 3.5-mm-Jack Silver takes audio from HDMI and provides TosLink and 3.5-mm jack audio connections. It’s for someone whose setup needs audio from an HDMI connection in one of those formats, rather than audio over HDMI alone. The useful point is its specific job: separating audio from an HDMI signal and making it available through the named audio connections. That makes the AE90 relevant when you’re matching an HDMI audio source with equipment that uses TosLink or a 3.5-mm jack. The title doesn’t establish which devices it works with, so I’d keep the decision focused on those connection types rather than assume a particular setup will suit it. It’s silver, a simple detail if you want the extractor’s finish to sit comfortably alongside your other equipment.

Choosing the AE90 for your setup

Start with the connections you need at the audio end. The AE90 is described for HDMI audio with TosLink and 3.5-mm jack outputs, so those are the details to compare with the ports on the equipment you intend to use. This is a focused accessory, not a general HDMI cable: its purpose is audio extraction. If your requirement is to get audio from HDMI into one of the named connection formats, that’s the role this Hama model is made to fill. The product name gives no basis for assumptions about other connections or capabilities, so keep your choice to the formats stated here. Its silver finish is also specified in the name.
