Hama Laptop-Backpack Genua Tot 44 cm (17.3) Black

Hama Laptop-Backpack Genua Tot 44 cm (17.3) Black | Laptop carry for larger devices

The stated capacity of up to 44 cm (17.3 inches) defines the Genua: Hama has made this a laptop backpack for people carrying a larger computer. The intended use is clear from the name, without needing to assume extra features: it’s a backpack designed around carrying a laptop. Its black colour keeps the look simple and understated. One practical point deserves attention before you choose it: a laptop’s screen size is measured diagonally, so that number doesn’t tell you its full outside width, depth or thickness. If your laptop is near the stated size limit, compare its physical dimensions with the backpack’s fit details. That’s the sensible way to judge fit, rather than relying on the screen measurement alone.

Choosing the right laptop fit

For a laptop you already own, look up its external dimensions and use those measurements when assessing fit. Two computers with the same screen size can have different outer measurements, so diagonal size is a helpful guide, not a complete description of the device. This matters most when you’re buying for a specific laptop rather than choosing a bag first and a computer later. The Genua’s stated limit gives you a clear size class to start from; the next step is matching your device’s width, depth and thickness against the available fit information. A little measuring can save guesswork, especially with a larger laptop.
