Hama Netwerk Cable CAT6 STP 30m Per 10Pcs

Hama Network Cable CAT6 STP 30m Per 10Pcs | Reach across longer routes

The defining decision is the 30-metre length: it gives you room to route a network cable between points that aren’t close together, rather than limiting the run to a short connection. This Hama cable is listed as CAT6 STP, in grey, and as “Per 10Pcs”. That makes it a practical option for a shop, office or home setup where you need to plan several cable runs or keep a spare to hand. Its straightforward job is to carry a network connection along a longer path; it’s the reach that matters most here. Grey is a restrained colour for a cable that may be visible along a wall or around a work area. If you’re buying for one route, take a moment to map the path before choosing the length. For multiple routes, the ten-piece designation may suit a larger installation.

Planning the cable run

Measure the route the cable will actually follow, not just the straight-line distance between the two ends. A run may need to go around furniture, follow a wall or pass between separate areas, and those turns can use up extra length. Leave enough room at each end to reach the connection point without pulling the cable taut. It’s also worth deciding where the cable will travel before you start laying it out, so you can avoid awkward detours and keep the route tidy. For a small installation, a quick sketch and a tape measure can save a second trip to reposition the cable. For a larger one, mark each planned route and keep track of which cable goes where.
