Hama Network Cable CAT-6A 10 GBIT/s S/FTP Afgeschermd 10.00m

Hama Network Cable CAT-6A 10 GBIT/s S/FTP Afgeschermd 10.00m | A 10-metre shielded network link

When a network connection needs to reach farther than a short cable allows, the right length can save awkward routing or the need for another connection point. Hama’s CAT-6A network cable provides a 10-metre run, with a stated speed of 10 Gbit/s and S/FTP shielding. It’s a straightforward option when you need to connect network equipment over this distance. The black finish is discreet along a desk edge or beside other dark cables. One honest point: 10 metres is a fixed length, so it pays to think through the route before choosing it; spare cable can be harder to keep tidy. If your planned path suits the length, this Hama cable keeps the decision simple: a clearly specified network cable without unnecessary claims about the rest of your setup.

Planning the cable run

Before setting up, trace the route the cable needs to follow, including any turns around furniture or along a wall. Allow a little slack at each end so the cable can reach its connection point without being pulled tight. A neat route is easier to live with, and thinking it through first can help you avoid leaving a loop of excess cable in a walkway or behind a desk. Keep the path practical for your room and the equipment you’re connecting. That small bit of planning makes a long cable run less of a tangle and helps you decide whether this length works for your setup.
