Herma 7768 Cover Negatif 10x4 PP
Herma 7768 Cover Negatif 10x4 PP | Keep negatives protected in your bag
The 10x4 format is the defining choice here: this Herma cover is made for keeping negatives in a dedicated protective pouch, rather than carrying camera gear on its own. It suits film photographers who want a simple way to shield their negatives while they’re stored or travelling inside a larger camera bag. The PP construction gives the cover its named plastic material, while the pouch format helps keep its contents apart from other items in the bag. Its job is practical and specific: help guard against scratches and bumps during everyday storage and transport. Place the cover inside your bag with the negatives protected within it, and you have an extra barrier between them and the loose gear around them. It’s a focused accessory for photographers who want to keep their negatives together and protected, without treating the cover as a full camera case.
Specialist Note
Film photographers who keep negatives with their camera kit will appreciate having a separate cover for them. The 10x4 format gives this pouch a defined size, so it’s best used for negatives in that format rather than as a general-purpose storage case. Its PP construction makes it a straightforward protective layer; put the cover around the negatives, then keep it inside your larger bag to help prevent rubbing and knocks from the other contents. That’s the use I’d recommend for day-to-day carrying or for keeping negatives together in storage. One limit to keep in mind: this is an inner pouch, not a stand-alone hard case, so it’s meant to work inside a larger bag.
