Hide-a-mic Foam-O's Regular 16 Universal Foam Microphone Mounts White
Hide-a-mic Foam-O's Regular 16 Universal Foam Microphone Mounts White | A simple foam mount for microphones
A microphone needs a mount, but you’d rather keep the setup simple. The Hide-a-mic Foam-O’s Regular 16 is a white foam microphone mount for that job, with “Universal” in its name rather than a specific microphone model. It’s suited to people who want a foam mount for a microphone setup and prefer a white finish. The foam construction gives you a different kind of mount from a rigid-looking fixture, while the white colour can suit a light-coloured setting. Its name identifies the version as Regular 16, though that label alone doesn’t tell you about fit dimensions. Use it when a foam mount is what your setup calls for; the product information doesn’t establish particular microphone models or mounting arrangements, so I wouldn’t assume a specific fit beyond its Universal designation.
Specialist Note
The white foam gives this mount a light-coloured finish, which can suit a pale backdrop or light clothing when the microphone is part of the visible setup. I’d choose it for a simple microphone mounting job where that colour makes more sense than a dark accessory. The foam material also means this isn’t a hard, rigid-looking mount; it’s the option to consider when you specifically want foam. Its Universal name makes it a general-purpose proposition, but the title doesn’t identify particular microphones, so I wouldn’t read that as a promise of a fit for every model. It’s less discreet against dark surroundings, where the white finish may be more noticeable.
