Hohem iSteady V2S Smartphone Gimbal w/ AI-Sensor And Light
Hohem iSteady V2S Smartphone Gimbal w/ AI-Sensor And Light | Steadier video while you’re on the move
Hohem iSteady V2S Smartphone Gimbal w/ AI-Sensor And Light combines phone stabilisation with an AI sensor and a light, for creators who want a compact setup for filming themselves. It’s aimed at vloggers and anyone making video while moving, rather than photographers looking for a tripod for still images. Its strong suit is making walking shots look smoother and helping you keep a video going as you move through a scene. Use it for a walk-and-talk, a shop-floor update or a quick piece to camera; the light is handy to have on the device when the available light needs a little help. The AI sensor adds to its appeal for solo recording, when you’re handling the phone and speaking at the same time. It’s a focused tool for video on a smartphone, and a practical alternative to simply holding the phone for every take.
Specialist Note
Solo vloggers filming walk-and-talk pieces or short updates on location are the people I’d point towards the iSteady V2S. As a gimbal stabiliser, it’s made for smoothing out the movement in walking footage; take a measured pace and let it steady the view rather than swinging the phone around quickly. The AI sensor is a useful detail for someone recording without a second person to help manage the shot. And having a light on the gimbal gives you an option when your face needs more illumination for a quick piece to camera. I’d still plan your lighting for important recordings: a small built-in light is a convenience, not a complete lighting setup.
