Ilford Décor Canvas Bright White 380GSM 64" 1626X18m 1ROLL

Ilford Décor Canvas Bright White 380GSM 64" 1626X18m 1ROLL | Wide-format canvas for decorative prints

Ilford Décor Canvas Bright White is 380gsm canvas on a 64-inch-wide, 18-metre roll, built for people producing large-format decorative prints. Its width gives you room to plan broad images, while the roll length provides continuous media for jobs that need more than a short sheet. The product name specifies a bright white colour, a useful starting point when the appearance of the unprinted canvas matters to your design. This is a specialist media purchase, so it makes most sense when canvas is the material you want to print on, rather than paper. I’d pay particular attention to the 64-inch width when planning a job: it’s a substantial roll, and the artwork dimensions need to suit the output you have in mind. The listed 380gsm weight is another concrete part of the choice. It tells you the media’s stated weight, without making assumptions about how it will behave in a particular printer.

Choosing the roll format

This roll format suits printmakers, studios and other users who are planning decorative work at a generous scale. Think through the intended image size and how much material each job will use before you start a print run. The 18-metre length gives you a continuous supply to work with, but the amount available for finished prints depends on the dimensions of each design and any material needed for trimming. That’s worth factoring into a layout before committing to a full roll.

Bright White and Décor Canvas are the identifying details to keep in mind when comparing media for a project. The title gives you a width in inches and millimetres, alongside the roll length, so you can plan around the stated format. I’d treat those measurements as the starting point for checking whether this roll suits your intended output; they don’t, on their own, tell you which printers can use it. If canvas is the desired medium and the stated roll dimensions suit the job, this Ilford option gives you the key details plainly on the label.
