Ilford Décor Canvas Glossy 400GSM 60" 1524X15m 1ROLL

Ilford Décor Canvas Glossy 400GSM 60" 1524X15m 1ROLL | A wide canvas roll for print projects

Many print jobs start with sheets, but larger canvas work calls for a roll you can cut to the length your layout needs. Ilford Décor Canvas Glossy is a canvas printing material supplied as one roll, with a glossy finish and a weight of 400gsm. Its 60-inch (1524mm) width suits wide-format print planning, while the 15m roll gives you a continuous length to work with. It’s for photographers, artists and print studios preparing images or artwork for canvas output, especially when the finished format won’t fit a standard sheet. The glossy surface is a defining part of the result, so consider how its appearance will suit the image and the setting where it’ll be displayed. This is a specific roll format rather than a mixed pack; the useful part is being able to plan each print around your own artwork and desired dimensions.

Planning your canvas print

Before committing to a full run, prepare the artwork at the intended final proportions. Check the crop carefully: a composition that works on screen can lose important detail when adjusted to a different shape. Leave room for any edges that will be wrapped or otherwise finished, if that’s part of your project, and make a test print when colour and tonal balance matter. Those steps are general print-planning advice, not a claim about a particular printer or workflow. The roll format gives you a width and a continuous length to plan around; your layout, trimming and finishing choices determine how much material each piece uses. For a studio, it can help to organise several designs in advance and keep their final sizes consistent. For a single artwork, take time with the crop and presentation before printing. A glossy canvas surface has a distinct look, so judge it against the image itself rather than assuming it suits every photograph or display space.
