Ilford Delta 400 Prof 35mm - Film X 30.5 M

Ilford Delta 400 Prof 35mm - Film X 30.5 M | A long roll for regular shooting

Short rolls can run out just when you’re getting into a rhythm. Ilford Delta 400 Prof is black-and-white 35mm film in a 30.5 m roll, giving you a longer supply in one purchase. It suits photographers who shoot 35mm regularly and would rather work with a longer roll than keep picking up short ones. The name identifies this as Delta 400; this listing doesn’t give further detail about its image characteristics, so I won’t promise a particular look or result. The practical appeal is the format: a substantial length of black-and-white film for photographers who know they’ll use it. If you shoot only now and then, that much film may be more than you need. For regular use, though, it’s a straightforward way to keep your film supply going.

Consider the roll length

The 30.5 m length is the detail to weigh up before choosing this film. Think about how often you shoot and whether a longer supply fits your routine; it’s less suited to someone who wants just a small amount of film for an occasional outing. There’s no need to buy into a grand promise here: this is a specific black-and-white film, identified as Delta 400, in a 35mm format and a long roll. That makes the decision fairly simple. Choose it when the quantity matches your use, rather than buying more film than you’re likely to get through. For a regular 35mm shooter, the longer format may be the main reason to pick this listing.
