Ilford Direct Positive Paper FB 1K 20.3x25.4cm 25 Vel | Direct-positive paper in a practical sheet pack

Ilford Direct Positive Paper FB 1K comes in 25 sheets measuring 20.3 x 25.4 cm, for photographers looking specifically for direct-positive paper in this format. The name makes the intended role clear: this is a paper to choose when direct-positive output is the point of the project, rather than when you simply need an unspecified pack of photo paper. Its sheet dimensions and pack quantity give you concrete details to consider before you buy. That’s helpful when you’re planning a print run or choosing paper for a particular piece of work. The supplier lists the colour as black. If you already know you want Ilford Direct Positive Paper, this listing keeps the decision focused on the paper type, size and number of sheets. It’s a specialist product, so the main question is straightforward: does this particular paper match the way you want to print?

Choosing this paper

Start with the words “Direct Positive” in the product name. They identify the kind of paper you’re selecting, and that should be the deciding point—not just the brand or the fact that it’s photo paper. The FB 1K designation is also part of the product name, so it’s worth keeping that exact version in mind if you’re matching a paper choice to a project or replacing a pack you’ve used before. The stated sheet size can help you judge whether this format suits the prints you have in mind; the pack quantity helps you plan how much paper to set aside. There’s no need to overcomplicate the choice: if you’re after this named Ilford paper and its listed format, the essential details are all here. For a specialist paper, choosing by the intended output and format is a more useful starting point than expecting it to serve every printing need.
