Ilford Drylab PG230 Glossy 6"-15.2cm x 65.5m 4 Rolls

Ilford Drylab PG230 Glossy 6"-15.2cm x 65.5m 4 Rolls | Glossy paper for photo prints

For producing glossy photographic prints from roll paper, the Ilford Drylab PG230 Glossy is a clearly specified option: each roll is 6 inches (15.2 cm) wide and 65.5 metres long, and this listing is for four rolls. It suits photo labs, print counters and photographers who make prints as part of their regular work and want a roll format rather than individual sheets. The glossy surface gives photographs the familiar sheen of a glossy print, making it a natural fit when that finish is the look you want. The useful detail here is the exact format: you can compare the roll width and length with the print jobs you have planned, rather than choosing on the product name alone. It’s a straightforward supply choice for repeat print work, though glossy isn’t everyone’s preferred finish; the final look matters more than the label.

Choosing a glossy photo-paper finish

Glossy is a deliberate surface choice, not a promise that every photograph will look better on it. It gives prints a sheen that’s readily recognisable, so it makes sense when that’s the presentation you have in mind for the images. If you’re preparing a batch, think about the photographs as finished prints: where they’ll be shown, how you want their surface to look, and whether a glossy appearance suits the set. That’s more useful than assuming one finish works for every subject or project. The four-roll quantity also makes this listing relevant when you’re planning ongoing print work or want several rolls available for a run. Before choosing, match the listed roll format to the requirements of your intended job. There’s no need to read more into the product name than it gives you: this is Ilford Drylab PG230 glossy photo paper, sold in a defined roll size and pack quantity.
