Ilford OmniJet Satin Photo Paper 250gsm 111,8cm x 30m

Ilford OmniJet Satin Photo Paper 250gsm 111,8cm x 30m | Satin finish in a wide roll

The defining choice here is the satin finish: Ilford pairs that named surface with a wide, long roll for photo printing. This is a specialist-format paper for people whose prints call for a 111.8cm width, rather than a standard small sheet. The roll is 30m long, so you can plan a run of prints around a continuous length of paper; the exact amount you use will depend on your print sizes and layout. At 250gsm, the paper’s stated weight gives you a useful point of reference when matching stock to a project. It’s a focused option for photographers and print studios looking for satin-finish photo paper in this particular roll format. The key decision is whether the surface, width and weight suit the prints you have in mind. If they do, the product details are refreshingly straightforward.

Choosing this roll

Start with the finished print dimensions. The 111.8cm width is the defining practical detail, so it makes sense when your work needs a roll at that scale. For smaller prints, consider how you’ll arrange them across the roll and how much paper your layouts will use. The 30m length gives you a fixed amount to plan with, rather than an open-ended supply.

Then consider the surface and weight together. “Satin” identifies the finish, while 250gsm is the paper weight stated in the product name. Those are the details to compare with your intended print job and the stock you already use. I’d treat this as a specific-format purchase rather than a general-purpose paper: its appeal is the combination of satin photo paper and these stated roll dimensions. The name gives you the essentials for making that comparison, without asking you to guess at extra features.
