Ilford OmniJet Self-Adhesive Vinyl Glossy 91,4cm x 20m

Ilford OmniJet Self-Adhesive Vinyl Glossy 91,4cm x 20m | Wide glossy vinyl for adhesive-backed print projects

Glossy vinyl gives a print a reflective finish, with an adhesive backing for applying it without a separate adhesive step. Ilford OmniJet Self-Adhesive Vinyl Glossy is for people whose project calls for vinyl rather than photo paper, and who want gloss to be part of the finished look. At 91.4 cm wide and 20 m long, it offers a continuous length to plan a print job around, from a larger layout to several smaller pieces. The finish is the main visual choice: it has a sheen, rather than the quieter look of a matte surface. One practical consideration is the width; think about how you’ll handle the material and arrange your artwork before starting. If your brief calls for glossy, self-adhesive vinyl, this product gives you that format in a generous length.

Planning your print

Start with the finished pieces you need, then lay out the artwork with their proportions in mind. If the project calls for trimming, leave room for that in your layout; it’s easier to plan this before a print is underway. For multiple pieces, arranging them together can help you use the material deliberately and avoid awkward gaps. Also consider how the printed surface will be handled once it’s ready, since the desired finish is part of the decision. These are planning points rather than extra product features: the right choice comes down to whether glossy vinyl suits the job you have in front of you. This is a straightforward format to assess by material, finish and size, so you can decide whether it fits your planned output before you begin.
