Ilford Satin Photo 260GSM 60" 152.4cmx30.5m 1ROLL

Ilford Satin Photo 260GSM 60" 152.4cmx30.5m 1ROLL | Wide-format satin photo paper on a roll

The defining choice is a satin finish in roll form: this is photo paper for print work planned across a broad, continuous width, rather than as separate sheets. Ilford Satin Photo measures 60 inches (152.4 cm) across and comes as one 30.5 m roll, with a stated weight of 260 gsm. That makes it relevant to photographers and print operators who need to plan around wide-format stock and know the dimensions their work calls for. The product name gives you three practical points to weigh up: the satin finish, the paper weight and the roll dimensions. It’s best considered for photo-printing work where those stated basics fit the job. There’s no need to read more into the name than that; it gives a clear format and size, not a promise about the appearance of a finished print.

For a sensible fit, start with the width of the prints you intend to make and how you’ll handle the roll in your workflow. A 60-inch width gives you room to plan broad output, while narrower work means trimming may be part of the process. The roll’s 30.5 m length is a useful planning figure when estimating how much stock a run of prints will call for; actual usage depends on the dimensions and layout of each job. That’s the practical appeal of choosing roll media: you can assess the paper against the work you have in mind, rather than picking a sheet size first.

If satin is the finish you’re looking for, this Ilford roll keeps the choice straightforward: one paper type, one stated weight and a clearly defined width and length. Compare those measurements with your intended print sizes before settling on it. This description sticks to the details in the product name, so it doesn’t assume a particular print result or workflow beyond the roll format.
