Indipro 8V AC Power Supply w/ Canon LP-E6 Type Dummy BAT.

Indipro 8V AC Power Supply w/ Canon LP-E6 Type Dummy BAT. | Power your setup from AC

Instead of relying on a charged camera battery, this Indipro power supply uses an AC supply and a Canon LP-E6 type dummy battery. It’s for a setup designed around that battery type when you want to power the camera without using a standard battery in the camera. The listed voltage is 8V. Its appeal is simple: it replaces the battery as the camera’s power source, which can be handy when you’re working near an AC outlet and would rather not plan a session around spare, charged batteries. The dummy battery is the part that goes in the camera; the power supply provides the AC-powered alternative. It’s a specific-purpose accessory, so the key detail is the LP-E6 type format—not a general adapter for every camera. If your setup calls for that battery type, this is the kind of power option to consider.

For a fixed or desk-based setup, using an AC supply can make power management more straightforward than keeping track of charged batteries. You can build the supply into your working arrangement and use the dummy battery in place of a regular one. That’s the practical difference: the camera’s battery slot is still part of the setup, but the power comes from the supply rather than a battery you’ve charged beforehand.

Keep the product’s stated details in mind when choosing it: 8V AC power and a Canon LP-E6 type dummy battery. Those details describe what this item is; they don’t make it a universal camera power solution. If your intended setup uses the relevant battery type and calls for an AC supply, this Indipro unit is a focused alternative to battery-only power. There’s no need to treat it as a charger for spare batteries—the title identifies it as a power supply with a dummy battery.
