JJC RCH-TM Remote Pouch
JJC RCH-TM Remote Pouch | A protective layer inside your larger bag
Many people think a small remote can simply go loose in a camera bag, but keys, cables and other gear can leave it scratched or knocked about. The JJC RCH-TM Remote Pouch gives that equipment its own protective case, with a straightforward purpose: helping guard against scratches and bumps while it travels inside a larger bag. It suits anyone who wants to carry a remote with other gear without leaving it exposed to everything sharing the bag. It’s also handy for putting the remote away between uses, rather than letting it move around among other items. This is a simple protective pouch, not a larger carrying solution or a way to organise an entire kit. Its value is in adding a layer between the remote and the contents around it. If your main concern is keeping a remote protected in a packed bag, that focused job is exactly what the RCH-TM is for.
A focused job in your kit
Use the pouch when packing your remote inside a larger camera bag, or when storing it alongside other equipment between outings. The aim is to reduce direct contact with items that could scratch it and to soften the knocks it may take as the bag moves. Keep the pouch among the gear you already carry, rather than expecting it to replace that larger bag. It’s a modest addition, but it gives the remote a designated protective case instead of leaving it loose.
Specialist Note
First-time owners often toss a remote straight into a larger bag, where it can rub against other gear; this pouch gives it a protective case of its own. I’d use it when packing the remote with camera equipment, then keep the pouch handy for putting the remote away between uses. Its job is specific: helping protect against scratches and bumps, not adding storage for a whole kit. That makes sense if your remote usually travels inside a larger bag and you want a simple layer of separation. I’d still treat it as a pouch, rather than relying on it to protect gear from every hard impact.
