Jupio Dedicated Duo Charger For Sony BP-U Series

Jupio Dedicated Duo Charger For Sony BP-U Series - charges two batteries at once

A pair of Sony BP-U batteries can be on charge together between shoots with the Jupio Dedicated Duo Charger For Sony BP-U Series. Its two charging positions keep both batteries on one charger, rather than tying up separate sockets and chargers. Choose the 500 mA low-speed setting when battery longevity is the priority, or switch to 1500 mA high-speed charging when you need batteries ready sooner. An illuminated LCD shows charging status, so you can see where each battery is in the process. The built-in USB output can also charge a phone or tablet, handy when you’re travelling with several devices to keep powered. At home, the supplied mains cable connects the charger to AC power; on a journey, the included car charger provides another way to run it. It’s a focused bit of kit for BP-U users who need two batteries charging at once and want a clear choice between slower and faster charging.

Charging Features

• Two charging positions: Charge two BP-U batteries on the same unit. That’s useful when a shoot has left both batteries depleted and you’d rather manage one charger than two.
• Two selectable charging speeds: The low setting charges at 500 mA, while the high setting supplies 1500 mA. Pick the slower rate when you have time, or the faster rate when the next use is closer.
• Backlit LCD: The illuminated display shows battery charging status. It remains readable when you’re checking progress in a dim room or vehicle.
• Built-in USB output: Charge a phone or tablet alongside the camera batteries. This gives the charger a second job when you’re travelling with personal devices too.
• AC and car power options: The package includes a mains cable and a car charger. Use the charger at home or power it from a vehicle while travelling.

Good to know

The charger accepts 100–240V AC through its mains connection, and the included car charger is rated for 12–24V. Its listed charging voltages are 8.4V, 12.6V and 16.8V. Those ranges make its home and vehicle power options clear for packing and setup; the charger’s LCD provides a direct view of charging progress once connected.
