Use the polarising effect to reduce distracting reflections or deepen a blue sky; adjust the ND strength when you need less light reaching the camera. It’s especially handy in changing outdoor light, when you want to keep a chosen shutter speed or aperture without reaching for a separate ND filter. The 82mm size is the filter diameter, and the ND2–ND32 range gives you room to make a substantial exposure adjustment.
