Exposure changes become a simpler adjustment when ND and CPL are combined on one filter, rather than two separate pieces of glass to manage. The ND4–64 range runs from two to six stops of light reduction, so at ND64 you could, for example, move from 1/60 sec to about 1 sec in the same light and exposure, useful for softening moving water. The 52 mm size is the detail to match to your lens’s filter thread. I’d point landscape photographers and outdoor filmmakers towards it when they want both slower shutter speeds and less reflected glare. One thing to keep in mind: polarisation depends on the angle of the light, so its effect won’t be identical in every direction.
