K&F Concept Smartphone CPL Filter 52mm w/ Clamp
K&F Concept Smartphone CPL Filter 52mm w/ Clamp | Reduce distracting reflections
Reflections on glass and water can be less distracting in your phone videos with the K&F Concept Smartphone CPL Filter 52mm w/ Clamp. It’s a smartphone video accessory for people who want more control over reflected light in a shot, rather than having glare dominate the frame. The CPL filter is designed to reduce reflections, which can help when you’re filming a view through a window or capturing water. A clamp provides a way to position the filter with your smartphone camera. That makes it useful for short video clips where you want to keep the phone setup simple and focus on a particular reflective scene. It won’t remove every reflection, and its effect depends on the light and angle, but it gives you a practical way to manage glare while filming on a smartphone.
Where it helps
Try it on a scene with a clear reflection, such as a shop window or a pond. Frame the shot, attach the filter with the clamp, and compare the view before you start recording. If the reflection is still prominent, changing your filming position may help; a CPL can only reduce reflected glare when the light and viewing angle allow it. For scenes without noticeable reflections, you may prefer to film without the filter.
Specialist Note
The K&F Concept Smartphone CPL Filter 52mm w/ Clamp is best at calming reflected glare in smartphone video. Its CPL design is aimed at reflections, so I’d consider it for a clip through a window or a close view of water where glare competes with the subject. The clamp is the practical part of this setup: it lets you position the filter with the phone camera, rather than treating it as a filter that screws onto the phone. The 52mm measurement is the filter size, not a promise about a phone’s own fitting. It’s a focused accessory; for scenes without reflections, it may make little difference.
