Kaiser Polsriem Pro 1.1
Kaiser Polsriem Pro 1.1 | Keep your camera close at hand
What sets the Kaiser Polsriem Pro 1.1 apart is its simple, specific purpose: it’s a wrist strap, rather than a strap designed to sit around your neck. That makes it worth considering if you prefer to keep your camera close while holding it, instead of having it hanging from your shoulder. It suits photographers who often move between framing and taking a shot, and want a wrist strap as part of how they carry their camera. For a walk with a camera in hand, for example, a wrist strap keeps the camera with you as you move; when it’s time to compose, you can bring it up without first lifting it from a bag. The name identifies the product as Kaiser’s Pro 1.1 model. Its appeal is the straightforward wrist-strap format, not a collection of features or adjustments.
Specialist Note
1.1 is the model designation; in practice, it tells you which Kaiser wrist strap you’re choosing, not a measurement or a load rating. The word “Polsriem” is the useful part when deciding how you want to carry a camera: this is a wrist strap, so it suits someone who prefers keeping the camera in hand rather than wearing it from the neck. I’d consider it for moving between viewpoints or keeping a camera ready while exploring a subject. Keep in mind that a wrist strap is for carrying the camera at your wrist; it won’t leave both hands free in the way a hands-free carrying setup can.
