Kaiser RSP2 Motion Copy Stand
Kaiser RSP2 Motion Copy Stand | A dedicated setup for copy work
To photograph a document or print with its edges neatly framed, a copy stand gives you a dedicated place to make the image. The Kaiser RSP2 Motion Copy Stand is a black tripod accessory for this kind of copying work. It suits photographers, archivists and small studios who regularly reproduce flat material, as well as anyone who wants a more orderly setup than balancing a camera by hand. Its purpose is specific: support a camera for copy work, rather than serve as an all-purpose support for changing viewpoints. That makes it relevant for paperwork, printed images, reference material and other flat subjects where consistent framing matters. Lay the subject flat, align its edges with the frame, and check the composition before shooting. The black finish keeps the stand visually understated in a workspace, while its copy-stand role makes its place in the setup clear.
Specialist Note
Keeping a camera and page aligned by hand can make copy work needlessly fiddly; the RSP2 gives that task a dedicated stand. It’s a tripod accessory, so I’d treat it as part of a copy setup, not as support for walking around and changing viewpoints. That’s the honest trade-off. Its black finish is visually quiet on a desk or in a studio, where you want your attention on the material being reproduced. I’d use it for documents or prints: lay the page flat, square its edges to the frame, then check all four corners before taking the picture. If your work is mainly copying rather than general-purpose support, it’s a focused tool to build a setup around.
