Kase International Magnetic Back Cap 112mm
Kase International Magnetic Back Cap 112mm | Keep your filter covered between uses
A filter taken off the camera needs somewhere safe to go; leaving it exposed while you pack or change setups is an easy way to pick up dust or marks. The Kase International Magnetic Back Cap gives a 112mm filter a cover between uses, with magnetic attachment rather than a loose cover to keep track of. It suits photographers who use filters of this size and want a simple way to cover one when it’s off the camera. That makes it most useful during a lens or filter change, or when you’re putting equipment away at the end of a session. The cap has a focused job: covering a filter, not adding an effect to your images. If you’re choosing a cap, the size is the key detail to match to your filter. Its magnetic attachment is the other defining feature, making this a specific accessory for keeping a filter covered between uses.
Specialist Note
Does this cover a 112mm filter between uses? Yes—that’s the job it’s made for. I’d use it when taking the filter off to pack away, or while setting it aside during a change of setup. The magnetic attachment gives you a direct way to put the cap on and take it off, so you’re not dealing with a separate loose cover. It suits photographers who already work with filters in this size and want to keep one covered when it’s not in use. One point to keep in mind: this is a size-specific cap, not a general-purpose cover, so match the stated size to the filter you intend to use it with.
